In Search of Ancient Egypt in Canada
Officially launched in 2006, In Search of Ancient Egypt in Canada/ À la recherche de l'Égypte ancienne au Canada aims to identify and document ancient Egyptian material in Canadian institutional collections, to provide support to these institutions, to identify architectural and artistic sites with Egyptian influence, and in general, to broaden interest in and awareness of ancient Egypt’s ties to Canada and its ongoing influence on art, architecture and culture. It also has periodically published information related to these sites and collections.
